How do we test your water?
Through a couple of tests, quality of water can be analyzed to a fair extent.
They are TDS tests and pH tests.
Most of us are drinking harmful water everyday without realizing. With purifiers and bottled water, processed water has become popular. But are these popular options really good or are they harming our health?
TDS stands for total dissolved solids, and represents the total concentration of dissolved substances in water which includes dissolved minerals, salts, impurities and heavy metals. TDS levels of water are usually measured with help of TDS meter.
A TDS meter is a small hand-held device used to indicate the Total Dissolved Solids in a solution, usually water.
TDS level of 200-300ppm in water is considered as the most suitable and acceptable.
Low TDS levels in water can cause adverse health effects such as Lower Bone Density, High blood pressure and also it may lead to cancer in some cases
What is TDS test?
pH is one of the most common water quality tests performed. pH indicates the sample's acidity but is actually a measurement of the potential activity of hydrogen ions (H+) in the sample. pH measurements run on a scale from 0 to 14, with 7.0 considered neutral. Whereas pH less than 7 is acidic and pH greater than 7 is Alkaline.
